Drink Celery Juice!

My life has changed significantly since I started juicing, and most notably juicing a common herb (surprisingly, it’s not a vegetable!) known as celery. My friend said it might help with my acne, and wow it really has! My skin has cleared up from chronic acne, I have less joint pain, sleep more soundly, feel more hydrated, have less sugar & salt cravings, decreased brain fog and more energy since I started drinking celery juice on an almost daily basis.


Benefits of Celery Juice

Contraindications

1- Pregnancy- may cause uterine contractions leading to miscarriage.

2-Medications- Wait one hour after drinking celery juice before taking medications. If you are on thyroid medications, blood thinners, blood pressure, or blood clotting medications you should talk to your doctor first before trying celery juice.

3-IBS- celery juice may cause bloating and indigestion. For sensitive stomachs, it is best to start with a smaller quantity of juice and see how your body feels, before drinking more.

How to make/drink celery juice

According to Anthony Williams, the Medical Medium, to do a Celery Juice Cleanse- one should drink 16oz fresh celery juice every morning on an empty stomach. Then wait 30 minutes to consume anything else and an hour before taking any medications. Simply wash & chop one bunch of celery, then put thru juicer and drink 16oz. If you have a sensitive stomach/IBS you may want to start with 8 oz celery juice instead, and notice how your body feels after drinking. May be stored for 3 days before drinking. Personally, I make a big jar of juice beginning of week, so I am ready to drink every morning. Although, fresh is best, 3-day old juice is definitely better than no juice!
